Orders for Standard Size doors take approximately 5-7 working days (often sooner). Custom sizes take at least 10 working days. All Impact orders (whether standard or custom sizes) take approximately 5 weeks. If you’d like a quote and know your sizes, you are welcome to call our office, fax your request or stop by and see our showroom. Otherwise, we can send an installer to your home to measure your door and window openings at no cost to you. We will then supply you with a free quote.

A deposit of 50% is required when the order is placed; the balance can be paid when the order is picked up. Payments can be made in cash, check (with identification) or credit card (Visa & MasterCard only). If you are obtaining a permit, we will supply you with a copy of the Product Approval for the Doralum Doors (Impact or Non) when the order is placed and deposit is given (not before).

Doralum does not deliver. However we can recommend someone to provide a delivery for you at a nominal charge. Please call us for details.

Doralum Corp. does not provide installation although we work with a number of installers that we have to come to know over the years and we can recommend one for you. We only recommend installers we believe to be responsible and experienced with our doors. We cannot guarantee nor do we take any responsibility for our doors installed by someone we don’t know. All Doralum doors are pre-hung and easy to install but should be properly installed for them to function correctly.

Our Sidelites fit directly into the doorframe via a U-shaped jamb and screws are not needed to attach one with the other. When no Sidelites are needed, Door Frames can be attached to wood bucks or masonry openings using (A) #14 Sheet metal screws (1-1/2” min embed) anchored to 2by wood bucks or wood structure or (B) _” Tap cons (1-1/4 min embed) into 1by wood bucks or masonry. See product approval sheet for further details.

How do I measure my door opening?
Window and door measurements are always taken from the outside (wall to wall) with the width being the first number.
